About the product
My Health Account is Health New Zealand digital health identity service that lets you securely access digital health services from anywhere. The service is available to millions of people in New Zealand.
This product is aimed to provide equality and accessibility to health information to all New Zealanders, including people with high health needs, the youth and people in rural area.
My role
As a Senior UX Designer, I collaborated with a team of 40, including 1 Senior UI/UX Designer and 1 Service Designer. My primary focus was on user research and holistic UX improvement.
Key responsibilities included:
Conducting user testing and research to identify UX problems.
Creating rapid design iterations and prototypes using the current design system.
Leading a strategic workshop with 40 stakeholders to capture intellectual property and actionable insights for product roadmap.
During my contract, I tackled two major issues while also enhancing the Design Practice's user testing processes. Additionally, I provided UX and accessibility support to other teams and colleagues as needed.

We had 2 weeks to find a solution for health practitioners to use their personal email for work. It didn't sound like a safe and secure solution, but there's a good reason behind it
